SAFE AGING INDIVIDUAL REMOTE CARE

The Elderly Care Organization & Medical Assistance System (ECOMAS) leverages advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and robotics, to provide personalized care and increased safety to the elderly. The goal of ECOMAS is to improve the quality of life of the elderly and facilitate their independent living, ensuring an aging characterized by dignity and safety.

Provision of telecare services :

  • The ECOMAS monitors and evaluates in real time, the health and behavioral parameters of the elderly (e.g. cardiac arrhythmia, pressure, falls, etc.), and informs IMMEDIATELY of unwanted developments.
  • The beneficiary can communicate, two-way and hands-free, by pressing the emergency button without having to move from his seat or dial a number.
  • Even if the elderly person cannot answer the ECOMAS he realizes the situation he is in and IMMEDIATELY sends the caregiver, nurse, or doctor, preventing any dangerous incidents.
  • Relatives can be informed by ECOMAS about the health and behaviour of the elderly person, connect live with them and chat (video call).

Examples:

  • An elderly person with heart disease experiences a sudden arrhythmia.
The ECOMAS detects the arrhythmia and immediately informs the nursing staff, who respond immediately and provide the necessary treatment, thus preventing a serious episode.
  • A person with Alzheimer's disease walks in their sleep and is at risk of falling.
The ECOMAS detects movement and immediately informs nursing staff who respond immediately and prevent the fall.
  • An elderly person feels unwell and cannot call for help.
The ECOMAS detects the change in the behavior of the elderly, informs the nursing staff, the attending physician, and/or relatives if deemed necessary by the physician.
