European Economic Interest Grouping EEIG THE CARE

The purpose of the group is to promote the strengthening and development of the economic activities of its members, with the aim of improving their business performance, without aiming at its own profits. This mission is in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) no. 2137/85, which sets the framework for the establishment and operation of the European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG).

Through the integration of resources, activities and skills of its members, EEIG creates a dynamic collaborative framework, which promotes significant economic benefits and opens up new perspectives, far exceeding what its members could achieve individually.

EEIG establishes itself as a reliable partner and potential beneficiary of implementing initiatives and actions that strengthen the competitiveness and extroversion of the local and regional economy. At the same time, it focuses on strengthening the development of digital services to citizens and related businesses, in collaboration with local authorities and other professional and scientific bodies.

One of the key advantages of the European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) is its enhanced ability to participate and secure funding from European programmes, such as HORIZON Europe, EU4Health, Digital Health, EIT Health, NSRF 2021-2027, the Recovery Fund, Greece 2.0, Interreg, and others. Participation in these programs offers EOIS members access to additional resources, specialized knowledge and superior expertise. At the same time, it improves their profile at the local, regional and European level, promoting their successful course in both business and research initiatives.

The resources of EEEIG iFrontida are :

  • Income from members' subscriptions.
  • Revenue from participation in NSRF and EU programmes.
  • Revenue from providing services, carrying out work, conducting research and carrying out studies and programmes.
  • Revenue from grants of any kind.
  • Revenue from donations, legacies and bequests.
  • Percentage of grants which it administers.
  • Revenue from any other source.
